Awkward and Awesome Thursday

Once again, joining in on all the Awkward and Awesome fun from The Daybook (hey, I was inspired by the vending machine below).


Awkward:

• When you forget about the laundry you have sitting in your washing machine for a few days.  And then you remember.  And when you open the washer, you are overcome with that terrible mildewy smell.  You know the one I am talking about.  Yuck!
• There is now a scale in front of the vending machines in the lounge at work. You practically have to step on it in order to make a purchase. More than a little awkward. 

• Anne Hathaway and James Franco hosting the Academy Awards.  Chemistry has left the building. 
• Dinner at my house Monday night.  After a long day of work (followed by an extra-long commute), husband cooks a nice dinner.  He lets the meat rest on the counter and leaves the room to tell me something.  He is gone for less than one minute.  And in that one minute, Meatball devours an entire tri tip (which then meant cereal for dinner). Yes, I am kicking myself for not getting pictures of this.
• Any news article relating to Charlie Sheen.  Wow, what is happening there?

Awesome:

• Nutella on Ritz crackers with a slice of banana or
• Nutella and banana crepes or these babies right here (I die!).  Must make these soon!
• Stuff with owls on it.  I really love this and these
• Anthropologie anything...but did I really need to remind you of that?
• This video....there is just something about a baby laughing hysterically that makes me crack up too.
