I am not really sure what the protocol is when you see a recipe you like on another blog, and then you try the recipe on your own blog. Please forgive me if I am not doing this correctly. I first saw this recipe on Cupcakes and Cashmere and want to give credit.
I love to bake and had some free time this long weekend to fulfill this desire. I decided that the lemon meringue cupcakes I saw on Emily's Blog would be perfect.
I am having a slight love affair with the tulips, and had to get them in the picture.
Ta-Da! I don't own a kitchen torch, do I couldn't get the meringue brown like the recipe calls for, but these cupcakes are more than fabulous. I had to bring some over for the neighbors to enjoy too.
And on a final note, I am a firm believer in Rachel Ray's garbage bowl. I always have one when I am doing anything in the kitchen, and I don't know how people can cook without one. If you haven't ever tried it (and find that you are running to the garbage can every 2 seconds) I recommend giving this a whirl.

you know I think it's completely fine if you try another blog's recipes as long as you give them the credit. I'm going to start doing that pretty soon after I get my blog sorted.

I absolutely adore my pug. There is something about their little court jester personality, that owns me. If everyone had a pug in their life, maybe we would have world peace:)
