Husband loves pizza. He also loves to cook. That means that for the past few years we have been making pizzas at home, trying to find the perfect recipe for dough. We have tried the ready-made kind from Trader Joe's, recipes from Tyler Florence, even whole wheat recipes for the heath-freak part of us (that we often try to repress). But this recipe marks the first time that we made a pizza dough that we would both call amazing. I swear the secret is the bread flour (and believe me we have tried every kind of self-rising four, 00 flour, and whole wheat flour you can imagine). We used Trader Joe's pizza sauce (found in the refrigerated section) and a variety of fresh veggies and turkey pepperoni. We also brushed the crust with garlic and olive oil.
