Summer Wedges

Wedges are my favorite type of sandal.  Being that I am only 5'3" tall, I need all the extra height I can get.  Plus, I love the fact that they are sturdy, and I am not likely to get my heel caught in the little gap between the elevator door and the floor.  You know, in front of a whole bunch of people in your office building, that then have to actually help you dig your heel out of the little crevice.  And when you finally get your shoe back, the heel is all scuffed up and you have to take it to the shoe repair guy in that little strip mall by your house.  Nope, that hasn't ever happened to me either.
