What's Going On In My Garden?

I haven't talked about my garden in a while, and there are lots of good things going on.  If you have been following for a while, you know that we did an expansion early this summer, that at this point, will clearly be a work in progress for a while longer.  We kind of got stuck, not being able to move the things we planted in early summer, and not wanting to kill anything that we would try to move.  The result is a little bit of chaos, but the rewards will be worth it in the end.

So these are the things that are currently going on in my garden.  The top row shows some of the pretty flowers that are continuing to bloom through the end of summer: blue pansies, dahlias, and foxglove.  The second row has some of our veggies: San Marzano tomatoes (the perfect tomato for making homemade tomato sauce), lemon cucumbers, and inferno peppers (which oddly, aren't all that hot, and a little bit sweet). The third row is a bit of a mixture: orange-flesh honeydews (try these, and you will never go back to the green flesh variety), roses, and grapes on our vine.

Lastly, please don't forget about my giveaway.  Get all of the details here.  Entering is easy-peasy-lemon squeazy.  I look forward to hearing from you!

This is all there in your garden! Wow. Lovely colors of nature. Love the peppers and tomatoes. Can imagine how fresh they must taste. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! Your garden is incredible! The only things I have ever managed to grow successfully are weeds! Although we did manage to grow potatoes and beans but apparently that's super easy! I think I need some pointers!

Oh I'm so jealous! I tried to do a garden this year for the first time and totally failed. I'll be better prepared next year. : )

ps. Thanks for the sweet comment, but in all honesty, I usually bake in sweatpants and husband's t-shirt (more room to eat all the goodies). haha

Hi, I'm Erin. I am living back on the east coast after 15 years out west. Currently readjusting to humidity and mosquitos. I love to take pictures and read fashion magazines.... and to talk about nothing in particular (ok, and my dogs).
