I love a good simple dessert. The kind that has just a few ingredients, and is easy to whip up at the last minute on a night when you have a craving for something sweet. I was browsing one of my daily reads, Raising Kane, the other day, when she mentioned the recipe for Fudge Pie. I immediately spent the next five minutes frantically searching for paper for my printer. Sidenote: why is the printer always out of paper during the times I need it most?
This dessert is so easy to make. I used a frozen, pre-made pie crust, and followed the directions on both the crust and the recipe itself. I also made some homemade whipping cream, which was the perfect accent to this dessert. Vanilla ice cream worked well too. The result was the fudgy masterpiece shown below.
I would love to hear from you if you make this yourself. Enjoy!
