Birchbox and MyGlam Redemption

My Birchbox and MyGlam bag for March both arrived on the same day. I wasn't really sure what to expect this time.  Last month, I was left unimpressed, and wanting to cancel one of my subscriptions.  This month, they both sent great packages.

I got an email from Birchbox earlier this moth, asking if I would be interested in receiving a special Teen Vogue box.  Since I wasn't especially impressed with the last box I had received, I figured I had nothing to lose.  I am really happy I went for it.  Every single product is one that I have already used or will use in the near future.  I would give this box an A!

Included in my Teen Vogue March Birchbox:

Essie: Luxeffects in Set In Stones (full size)-  I love this sparkly top coat.  This retails for $8.

Kate Spade New York: Twirl Perfume-  This has a pretty fruity floral scent that I really like.

Kerastase: Elixr Ultime- This is a smoothing oil.  I haven't tried it yet.

Tarte: LipSurgence Lip Tint in Lucky (full size)- I have recently developed a love for Tarte Lip Tint.  This is my second color, and it is a beautiful pink.  This retails for $24, so it was a great sample to receive.

Twistband: hair tie in orange- These seem very similar to my usual Emi-Jay hair ties (which I absolutely adore).  I have high hopes for these.

Also Included: A $10 off $75 order at Modcloth.com and a two year subscription to Teen Vogue for just $10 (go here for offer).

I would also give my MyGlam bag for the month an A.  I really liked the products that were offered, and the fact that the full size sample was a higher value item.  The cosmetics bag was adorable and the gift certificate was for a place I have shopped at before.

Included in my March MyGlam Bag:

Pur-lisse: Pur-Protect SPF 30 Essential Daily Moisturizer

Murad Eye Lift Protector

Dermstore $25 gift card

3Lab Perfect Cleansing Foam (full size)- I looked it up and it retails for $50, so this is a pretty cool sample.

Keracolor Color Enhancing Leave-In Treatment

MyGlam exclusive Classic Crease Brush and Case

Cute white flower bag to keep it all in

So, have you registered for either of these services yet?  What do you think of the products offered this month?  I would love to see what other people got in their boxes and bags, and whether or not they liked them.  Feel free to post a link in the comment if you have done a post about either of these.

These are awesome! I love getting surprises in the mail. I wish I could sign up for something like these but they are definitely behind in consumer goodies in southern Italy. They probably would scoff at the idea!

Both look great, but I think the Birchbox wins this month. At least in my book. I've thought about signing up, but money is tight right now, so the chance that I won't like or use what I receive makes it a no-go for now.
