Remember back in January, when husband and I started our seeds? Well, here they are now.
We have made a lot of progress on our garden since we did our big renovation project last year (see here and here). We managed to get all of the plants that we grew from seeds into the ground and somewhat organized. It is still too early to find a lot of flowers and vegetables in stores, but we have been planning where we want everything to go when it arrives.
This is our (future) Swiss chard and purple broccoli. I am not going to lie, I can't wait to see the purple broccoli grow.
All of of my early bloomers are ushering in spring.
1. plum blossoms 2. peach blossoms 3. lily of the valley 4. petunias 5. my UF garden gnomes 6. a camellia 7. freesia 8. peach blossoms 9. hyacinth |
We were recently able to expand our watering system into the front yard, so I feel a new project coming on. I could not be more excited for a chance to plant a whole bunch of flowers. Yep, that officially means I am getting old:)

wow! look at those go. i suppose you two definitely have green thumbs.
I'm impressed - I could never grow anything or stick my hands into dirt. Something about allergies...
Wow, your garden looks great! I would love to have one someday.
Haha funny to see the things that get you excited as you get older... I was just working on my garden yesterday, which is more of a collection of potted herbs. But they are getting so big and tall, I'm proud of myself! I wish I had a real space to plant a real garden like yours!
Oh man I wish I could have a garden like yours! And yes, garden envy definitely makes me feel old. ;)
I wish I had a place for a garden! So jealous. Can't wait to see all your goodies, especially the purple broccoli. That intrigues me.
I am impressed, too and I love the collage. I can't grow veggies. I have tried. Come over and check out my last dinner party photos with a theme. Don't you like themed
parties? I think you might like these photos.
How impressive! I look forward to watching it all blossom.

growing plants and building a garden is lots of hardwork, patience and love...i should know as im fond of foliage and love to garden and even living in an apartment has not deterred me to have a garden on my verandah and corridor...
wishes to you for healthy plants and a lovely garden!!

How soothing and relaxing. Have a great weekend!
sounds so relaxing and rewarding! have a lovely weekend!
wow, you guys are doing a wonderful job! I am especially appreciative of anyone who can do gardening and actually get live plants to grow and bloom and all that, because I am completely devoid of even a smidgen of a green thumb. I was not there whenever green thumbs were distributed. Probably off shopping or on a trip somewhere ;-)
your garden is gonna be amazing! cant wait to see it!
I'm so impressed by your green thumb! I got a rose from my boyfriend and the only thing it grew was mold.
