A Few Things I Picked Up At The Sephora VIB Sale

Back in November, Sephora had a 20% off sale for all VIBers.  There were more than a few things I had been wanting to try, and somehow narrowed down my list to what is below.  The product I was most impressed with was the Wen hair care line, and I recommend that if you have been on the fence about trying it, that you give it a shot.

During this time of the year, my cuticles get dry and I start picking at them.  This little nipper has been a life saver for me.  Instead of the bad habit I have of picking at my cuticles until they are raw, I trim them.  Bonus for it being hot pink.  Now if I could just remember to keep them moisturized.

Angled Cuticle Nipper  $18

I had been wanting to try this out for a while.  The eye peel is very gentle and seems to be easily absorbed.  I do have sensitive skin, and this is non-irritating.  This is the first Ole Henriksen product I have tried, and I am now interested in checking out more of this line.  If you have any recommendations, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Truth Is In The Eyes  $42

After watching numerous infomercials and having a best friend rave about this product, I decided that I had to try it for myself.  I ordered this kit which comes in the sweet almond mint scent, which is pleasant.  You have to use a lot of it, but it is both a shampoo and conditioner.  You leave it on for 3-5 minutes and then rinse.  When I do not straighten my hair, I find that my waves are now very springy.  I also love the results when I straighten my hair.  I have looked around on Amazon and QVC and found a lot of other scents that I want to try in the near future.

Wen Healthy Hair Care Kit  $39.50

So far, I don't love this, but I have only tried it a few times.  My hair is naturally wavy, and gets frizzy when I blow dry it.  I do use and love a few other Bumble and Bumble products, but so far, this hasn't done anything amazing for me (and there are a few products I like better).  If you have any suggestions for a styling balm I should try, please let me know in the comments.

Bumble and Bumble Straight Blow Dry  $28

After all of the bright and bold colors that have been trendy lately, I was looking for a softer, more neutral color.  I received one in a Birchbox a few months ago that made me look like a corpse.  I was on a mission to find something that was a little more me, and this suits me just fine.

Nars Lip Gloss in Turkish Delight  $24

What is on your Sephora wishlist?  Did you see anything here that you were interested in trying?

I was one of those on the fence about Wen, but will give it a try for sure now! TY for the review, Erin.
