I am going to come right out and say that this will be a hard book review to do without giving away any spoilers. I am going to try my hardest. This book was intense and amazing. Definitely one of the best books I have ever read. Every time I thought I knew what was happening, I was wrong. The first part of the book led me in one direction. The second part, a total 180. It left my head spinning, and I couldn't stop reading listening.

On the day of their fifth anniversary, Amy mysteriously disappears, leaving husband Nick with a lot of unanswered questions. We hear the story from their individual points of view, Amy's starting on the day they met, and Nick's starting on the day Amy disappeared. Nick isn't acting like the concerned husband he should be. What is he hiding? Who took Amy? Was Nick involved? Why is Nick smiling for the tv cameras? Then I realized that they were both unreliable narrators. They both seemed to have personality disorders and secrets they were hiding. I was so taken in, I had to keep reading to see how it all ended. It didn't disappoint.
Overall, I would give this book five out of five stars. I loved the whole story, beginning to end. When it was over, I missed Nick and Amy. I felt like I lost some interesting, albeit psychotic friends.
I also just finished The Carrie Diaries, and will be doing a review soon. Next up, Mommywood, by Tori Spelling. I read her first book, Stori Telling a while back, and I loved it. I was never a Tori Spellling fan until her first book. Also, after the intensity of Gone Girl, I needed something a little fluffier. So far, this is doing the trick.
Have you read Gone Girl? I would love to hear your thoughts. What are you currently reading?

Oh this is definitely one of my must reads as well!
I also loved STori telling a lot - so fun to read!
Let me know about Mommywood!
I am currently reading "Dash and Lily´s Book of Dares" on my Kindle and so far I LOVE IT! If you´re bookish and love NYC, that might be for you too ;)

Another one for my list! Thanks Erin xo
My sis just read the book and although she did have some misgivings about it, she liked it. Will definitely read it, as I already have it on my tablet:)

and currently i´m reading the latest one from t.c.boyle (when the killing is done)! :-)
ooops, it´s not "when the killing is done", it´s "san miguel"! i shouldn´t type that quick! *sigh*
I have so many books I've started reading and just don't have the time to finish. This looks particularly good as I like suspense and mysteries and it looks like it has a little of both in it.
Wow. I've heard so many people say this was a good book but I never really understood what the story was. This sounds fascinating - I think I need to add it to my list.
this is my next book to read! heard so many great things about it. glad u enjoyed it too. the story is so intriguing
This is on my to-read list. Hoping to get going on it this month. Glad to hear it was so good!
I am currently reading nothing that's not on the inside of my eyelids. Not enough time! I always promised myself I would not be a "not enough time to read" person, yet that is my current excuse. I made a goal for the year, though, so it's time to get going! Can't wait to read this one.
This is definitely on my (rather long) reading list. I have heard nothing but good things.
