Garden Shots from June

Meatball in the lavender.

Here is a good shot of one end of our garden.  It gives you a feel for the plots we have created.

Red globe grapes

Harriet wants to come in.

Thai chili peppers, just turning color.

Lemon cucumbers:  Once you try one, you will never want that rubbery store version.  

This is some kind of volunteer melon.  I can't wait to cut it open to find out what it is.

Corn on the cob:  You can see the yellow looking cobs developing towards the bottom.

Remember how I told you that you would know your onions are ready when the stalks fall over?  It looks just like this.    

Inferno peppers.

My tree, filled with plums.  I made the mistake of not pruning it this year, and it got a little out of control

I know I say this every time but I'm so envious of your garden! My three "requirements" when we look to buy a home are: a fireplace, a porch, and a large enough yard for a garden and fruit trees. Yours is basically what I picture when I daydream about finding that house. :)
